Tenmaya Japanese Restaurant – Premier Sushi & Authentic Japanese Cuisine in Eastvale, CA

We had been wanting to go here for a while, but since we tend to have an early lunch/brunch, we tend to miss it since it doesn't open until noon. We were finally able to go today and appreciated how quickly the food arrived. They may have a later opening, but it seems to be so that everything will be ready once you place your order. My sister's order took a little longer, but it was understandable since she ordered steak which takes a while. The food is beautifully presented and the restaurant itself is well decorated. I could see it as a place to go to for a special occasion. I was happy they had a vegan roll section as well as vegetarian appetizers to choose from. The waitresses were so attentive, like right when I was about to ask for more water, our waitress came to refill my glass before I even had a chance to ask. And when they saw how many pictures I was taking, one of them offered to take a picture of my sister and me together. Which reminds me that as this was all happening I had left my purse in our booth, but I saw the other waitress move to stand in front of it to protect it. This act of thoughtfulness extends to even the girls' bathroom where feminine products were offered for free, which means a great deal when you're a woman. Even the pen I was given to pay the check made me smile because it was so "kawaii", Japanese for cute! All this added up to a good experience that I highly recommend.

Definitely a hidden gem of a high-end sushi restaurant. You’d think that a restaurant of this caliber would only be found in LA/OC. I don’t remember the name of my waitress on a Saturday evening, but she’s awesome as her service was attentive and accommodated my pregnant wife in an excellent manner, allowing her to eat food from In-N-Out while I dined(I get it, most places don’t allow outside food understandably, but a man’s gotta eat and keep his wife happy lol). Started off with the 12 piece chef’s omakase and it was amazing. Very fresh tasting fish ranging from red snapper to golden eye snapper, maguro, hamachi, halibut, shima aji, etc. Went for a second round of uni, amaebi, otoro, and ikura. Superb as well. I think I found my new high end place in the IE for when I do not want to make the drive to LA/OC for sushi. The quality here definitely rivals that of the famous spots in LA/OC. Shout out to the waitress. Thanks for a great evening and we’ll be back.

We had an amazing experience at Tenmaya Japanese Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious , fresh sashimi, perfectly cooked tempura, and flavorful rolls. The presentation was beautiful and everything tasted authentic. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in the area. Highly recommend for both family dinners and special occasions!

New Japanese restaurant in Eastvale overlooking Silver Lakes property, -the softball /soccer fields. Looks unassuming from the outside, but once you get in, it opens up and looks upscale. Menu had a large variety from sushi, tip on, entrées with great high-end options like King salmon Toro and A5 Wagu. I saw that they had different size parties, including large parties were easily accommodated, sushi chef has lots of room to sit at the bar. Was reasonably priced not too expensive and had some low cost entrées. Service was great. Only issue I had was that the entrées were coming out as ready versus all at one time, but it wasn’t that big of a deal as we were all hungry and ready to eat as soon as hit the table. Portions were a good size and the plating was really nice. Food all tasted amazing. We had sushi sashimi, my daughter had Ramen, which I was told was delicious. Lots of options. Good food very tasty. Highly recommend. Only reason I didn’t give it Five stars was because I have real big hopes that they will continue to elevate this restaurant to its full potential.

First time at Tenmaya and we really enjoyed the food and service. The service was friendly and quick for a Saturday evening. We ordered 4 sushi rolls and I had a hibachi plate of chicken and shrimp. The quality and flavor were great!

Everything they do is fantastic. Worth checking out all of the seafood/specials they offer. And they have unagi donburi which is my absolute favorite. My server Kim also was exceptional. This restaurant spares no expense on the details either. From the plateware, to the napkins, all details are well thought out.

We had a lot of their dishes & our favorites were the Miso Crab Salmon, the Snapper Sushi & the Ube Cheesecake. The customer service was immaculate. The owner came over to check on us & even told us where all their fresh fish comes from! The restaurant has very modern vibes, very clean. There’s a lot of parking and the restaurant is easy to find. We’ll be coming back very soon.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Tenmaya! The service was very friendly, the food came out quickly, and everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Philly Roll, Alaska Roll, Fantasy Roll, and salmon belly nigiri, our favorite was definitely the Fantasy Roll! Also got the Japanese cheesecake and it was delicious! The restaurant itself was very clean, and even the dishware was spotless, which can be hard to find. Highly recommend!
